Just one tour and Simply Red will be history. In 2010 the band will be saying their final goodbyes with The Farewell Tour. Last year prior to the concert in the Westerpark, Mick Hucknall announced: this concert would not be the final show of Simply Red. Although the singer had already announced he wanted to concentrate more on his solo career, Red wants one last goodbye from the Dutch fans.
Since their first tour in 1985, Simply Red had given over 1100 concerts for 11 million fans. In a short time the band transformed into a global arena act with an extensive and impressive repertoire. After more than a quarter of a century, Simply Red will come to an end. With a final show that you do not want to miss!
