One late evening in the spring of 1827 Vienna experiences the biggest electrical storm ever. In a cluttered room Ludwig von Beethoven is hanging on his piano with his last and greatest symphony he just completed. When the clock strikes midnight, Mephistopheles appears to collect the soul of the great composer. Looking into the abyss of eternity Beethoven was horrified, but the devil also has an offer and the negotiations begin...

Thus begins the Trans-Siberian Orchestra rock opera ‘Beethoven's Last Night’: an unprecedented mix of progressive rock and symphonic music, combined with theatrical elements. A timeless story about the struggle of Beethoven and the difficult choices that the composer has to make about the legacy of his life.
