GUIDE TO ORDER TICKETS ONLINE FOR CONCERTS IN THE NETHERLANDS
This guide is a manual on how to buy tickets when you’re living of staying in another country.
Livenation.nl is the official website to purchase concert- and festivaltickets in The Netherlands. In a couple of short steps this guide will explain how you can order your tickets online. We would like to underline that original tickets can only be ordered via www.livenation.nl and our ticketing partners. Only here you are certain you won’t pay too much money for your tickets and access to the venue is assured.
Note: Order tickets via two ticketing systems
As from July 9 2010 we sell tickets through two ticketing systems. If you want to order tickets, you first need to create an account with our ticketing partner.
It can happen that you need to create a new account even if you have previously ordered tickets at www.livenation.nl. At the buying page you can see which ticketing partner is selling the tickets. We apologie for this inconvenience.
Next you will find a guide to buy tickets via Ticket Master. If you’d like to buy tickets for a show that has been on sale before July 9 2010, we advise you to read the CTS Eventim manual.

- An account on www.ticketmaster.nl
- Adobe Reader (when you would like print e-tickets)
- Home banking (iDeal via SNS, FrieslandBank, ASN Bank, SNS Regio Bank, Triodos, Rabobank, ABN AMRO, Fortis or ING) or a Creditcard (Eurocard/Mastercard, Visacard)
1. Start at www.livenation.nl
Only with special member presales, you will need a Live Nation account. If you want to order presale tickets you need to be logged in to My Live Nation. We recommend to create an account before the start of the presale, so you can check your data and activate your account. You have to activate your account after registering, by clicking on a link that automatically will be send to your e-mail address. It is possible that you receive this activation link in your spambox.
If you want to order tickets in the regular onsale, you don’t need to be logged in with a Live Nation account.
2. Find the right artist page
Select the artist on our website or type in the artist name in the search bar at the top of the page. Click on the event to open the eventpage.
3. Click on the yellow ‘Buy Tickets’ button
You will be redirected to the website of our official ticketingpartner Ticket Master. You are directly linked to the right ticket page. Here you can see and select the ticket categories and prices. If the language is not in English already, then you can select this at the top-right of your screen.
4. Select your tickets
Please select the number of tickets you’d like to order and the category. The system will automatically select the best available seats within the selected price/category. When you’ve selected your desired tickets, click on the ‘Look for tickets’ button.
Booking via seat map
For some events it is also possible to select your own seats on the map of the venue. When this option is available, ‘Switch to Interactive Seat Map’ will appear in the top right corner of your screen. Choose this option to select specific seats.
Click on the area you’d like to sit in. A more detailed map will show of the available seats. Select the desired seats. You can also select a category on the left hand side or use your mouse to browse the map and see which category a seat is in.
After clicking a seat, you can select a ticket. The seats you’ve chosen will appear in the map in a different colour. Beneath the map, you’ll find your selected seats. These can still be deleted if you’d like. Click on the button ‘Checkout’ to place the order.
5. Select delivery method
Check your order and select a delivery method.
TicketFast
The tickets will be send to you by email and you can print the tickets yourself. No additional costs.
Standard mail abroad
You’ll receive the tickets by mail. Additional costs € 5,-.
Registered mail abroad
You’ll receive the tickets by registered mail. Additional costs € 12,50.
Select and click on the button ‘Continue’.
6. Log in at ticketmaster.nl
To order tickets, you need to create an account at www.ticketmaster.nl. This is not the same account as your My Live Nation account. If you already have a Ticket Master account, you can fill in your username and password.
Click on ‘Create account’ to create a new account. Fill in the register form and click ‘Accept and continue’.
7. Select payment method
Check your personal information and order data and be sure that everything is filled in correctly.
Choose how you’d like to pay for your tickets.
Ideal
You can use iDeal if you use home banking and have an banking account at SNS, FrieslandBank, ASN Bank, SNS Regio Bank, Triodos, Rabobank, ABN AMRO, Fortis or ING. There are no additional fees.
Creditcard
You can also use a Eurocard/Mastercard or Visa creditcard for payment. An additional 3,5% transaction fee will be charged.
Insert your personal information correctly and select the method of payment. Read and accept the additional terms and click ‘Submit Order’. You will be taken to a page where you can finish your payment.
